Kick off the Surrey Passport Tour at the Surrey Urban Farmers’ Market, held at Royal Kwantlen Park in the heart of Surrey. This vibrant outdoor market, run by a passionate team of volunteers, brings together the community every second Saturday from June to October.
Wander through a lively mix of stalls offering fresh produce, local meats, dairy, honey, preserves, and handmade goods from local artisans. Enjoy a bite from one of the food trucks, take in live music, and soak up the welcoming atmosphere. Next, head to the Clayton Community Market, nestled in the heart of Clayton. This friendly, biweekly farmers’ market runs on Sunday mornings from May through October and has become a beloved gathering place since it launched in 2017.
Here, you’ll find everything from fresh produce and baked goods to preserves and locally crafted wine and spirits. The Sunflower Cafe
The Sunflower Café in Crescent Beach is renowned for its bright, welcoming atmosphere. Russell Brewing Company
Russell Brewing Company is a cornerstone of Surrey’s craft beer scene, founded way back in 1995. As one of BC’s original ten craft breweries, it helped shape the province’s craft sector and has remained committed to quality and innovation ever since. Notable flagship beers include A Wee Angry Scotch Ale, Blood Alley Bitter, and Cream Ale, with experimental seasonal drops like Hoppy Hefeweizen and Lemon Meringue Pie Sour garnering buzz.
Russell opened its Surrey taproom in 2022. It features 14 beer taps, one cider tap, two slushies, and a snack menu (including tacos) and hosts events like crib nights and beer tastings.

Honeybee Centre
