Vernon Farmers’ Market

Vernon / Nintle-Moos-Chin

Nintle-Moos-Chin - Meaning "jumping over creek” in the Syeelhwh language.

Over 40 years of creating community through locally grown, made, or baked products.

Featuring up to 120 vendors during peak season, the Vernon Farmers Market is hosted in the back lot behind Kal Tire Place in the city’s north end. The market offers in-season fresh fruits and vegetables, baked bread and pastries, meat products, and prepared meals. Artisans also bring fresh cut flowers, handmade pottery, jewelry, and more, with hot food and concession options, as well as live entertainment also often onsite. The always-popular Thursday bread truck sells award-winning European-style artisan breads. Even in off-peak times, at least 40 vendors come to the market and shoppers can find their favourite farmers throughout the year.

The Vernon Farmers’ Market acknowledges that it is situated on the Traditional, Ancestral and Unceded Territory of the Syilx Okanagan Peoples, particularly the Syeelhwh Nation.

This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
