Just off the TransCanada Highway in the community of Sorrento, locals and passersby can stop at the Sorrento Village Farmers’ Market for plenty of fresh, locally produced products and an array of handcrafted items. Featuring everything from organic produce and beer from Crannóg Ales to locally raised meats, farm-fresh eggs and cheeses, baked goods, preserves, honey, wine, and even flowers and plants, this market is truly a one-stop shop.
The outdoor space provides lots of room for parking and often has organized activities for kids, as well as live entertainment in the form of buskers and other local talent.
The Sorrento Village Farmers’ Market acknowledges that it is situated on the Unceded and Ancestral Home of the Secwépemc People whose deep connection to this land continues to this day.
