Quesnel Farmers’ Market

Quesnel / Lhtako Dené

Lhtako Dené - lah-ta-ko den-ay ("Where the Three Rivers Meet")

A long-standing community tradition.

Since its inception more than 30 years ago, the Quesnel Farmers’ Market has continued to grow, year after year, with 40–50 unique vendors during peak season. Still supported by the founding farmers, this market sets up every Saturday morning from May through October, right outside one of the region’s first schoolhouses just minutes from the Fraser River.

Market mornings start with locals hurrying to collect fresh vegetables and meat for the week, and continues after lunch as families snack and dance to live music.

The market then moves inside to the Quesnel Arts and Recreation Centre for its Harvest Christmas Market dates in November and December, follow our Facebook for updates!

We acknowledge, with respect and humility, that we work and live on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lhtako Dené Nation.

This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
