City of Nelson Farmer’s Market – Baker Street Market
Nelson / Kaia'mElEp (or k'iyá'mlup)
Kaia'mElEp (or k'iyá'mlup) - The traditional and unceded territory of the Ktuanxa, the Syilx, and the Sinixt peoples.

Fresh produce picked last night, waiting for you this morning.
Downtown Nelson’s Stores-to-Shore revitalization has rejuvenated the city’s downtown core. Providing lush green spaces and a public plaza along the pedestrian-friendly corridor spanning Hall Street through to the the city’s waterfront, this is the perfect stomping ground for the Nelson Downtown Local Market.
While this community market offers an amazing mix of local produce, plants, prepared food, body care, fresh flowers, and locally-made arts & crafts, it’s the farmers who really shine. More than a dozen local area farmers haul their finest, fresh-picked produce to the market every Wednesday morning all summer – fresh from the farm to your plate.
We acknowledge the Nelson Farmers’ Market takes place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Ktuanxa, the Syilx, and the Sinixt peoples.
This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
