For over a decade, locals have looked forward to Saturdays full of beautiful sights, eclectic sounds, and the delicious smells of the Cranbrook Farmers’ Market. This weekly delight of the senses pops up in the heart of Cranbrook, where a diverse array of local food producers, growers, and artisans offer handcrafted, locally-grown items with loving care.
Surrounded by Kootenay vistas, fresh local vegetables, meat, and sweets are available alongside unique artisanal creations. More than a place to shop, the market has become a community gathering place to connect with friends, celebrate local business, and stroll along with no set agenda.

Tyler McNaughton and Sacha Bentall come by farming honestly. Both were raised on family ranches and have a deep-rooted knowledge of where food comes from and what it takes to deliver it to the highest of standards. Named BC’s Outstanding Young Farmers’ of the Year for 2018, Sacha and Tyler are dedicated to farming in accordance with their values of environmental sustainability, animal welfare and eating locally. They sell grass fed lamb and pasture raised pork at farmers’ markets throughout the East Kootenays.
