Open Saturdays from 10am to 3pm, June through October, the Surrey Urban Farmers’ Market sets up in the parking lot of Royal Kwantlen Park at 104th Avenue and Old Yale Road, in the heart of Central Surrey. It’s run by a dedicated team of volunteers, bringing local farmers, food producers, artists, crafters, and community groups together for the neighbourhood. Conveniently located on a major bus route and a short walk from the Surrey Central SkyTrain, it offers free parking, accessible washrooms, and weekly live music from local musicians alongside the produce stalls.
Held every other Sunday (except long weekends) from May to October outside the Clayton Community Centre, the Clayton Community Market has grown since it was founded in 2017 into a beloved tradition, now drawing 65 to 70 local farmers, artisans, and bakers on busy days. It’s an accessible and inclusive market with new asphalt paths and gender neutral washrooms, and it’s set against the backdrop of the Clayton Community Centre’s award winning Passive House building. Expect a Family Fun Zone, live music, and a rotating lineup of food trucks alongside the farmers’ market stalls.
Combine Cafe & Bar
Combine Cafe & Bar brings quality coffee, farm driven food, and easy drinks together in one welcoming downtown Surrey space, right across from King George SkyTrain Station. By day it runs as a neighbourhood cafe serving coffee, fresh juices, pastries, and travel ready sandwiches, and by evening it transforms into a full service restaurant and bar with a globally inspired menu built around whatever’s in season, from braised short rib to hand folded sushi. Stop in for breakfast or brunch, then come back after dark for cocktails and shareables.
Local Crafters Market
Local Crafters Market is a curated retail storefront where BC crafters and small businesses sell directly to shoppers, with no commissions taken on sales and full retail infrastructure handling the displays and staffing behind the scenes. Its King George Boulevard location sits close to Surrey’s SFU campus and its steady flow of students, families, and professionals, making it an easy browse for handmade goods, art, and gifts genuinely made by the people selling them.

Honeybee Centre
Founded in 2000 by John Gibeau, the Honeybee Centre is a small, family run apiary in Cloverdale where visitors can watch bees at work in the live observation hive, sample flavoured honeys from Blueberry to Cinnamon in the tasting room, and shop beeswax candles, soaps, and other bee inspired gifts in the country store. It’s a genuinely hands on stop for the whole family, with honey extraction workshops and guided tours from beekeepers who are clearly passionate about what they do.

Elena’s Cafe
Elena’s Cafe is a family owned spot in the heart of Cloverdale serving wholesome breakfast, brunch, and dinner in a cozy, plant filled space with soft lighting and a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s also home to the first full colour latte printer in North America, so you can get any photo, pet, or message printed right onto the foam of your coffee alongside the popular chicken focaccia sandwiches and rotating pastries. The kitchen is certified halal, and the cafe stays open late for anyone who wants to linger.
