Southern Gulf Islands Tour
Why pick one island when you can have two? The Southern Gulf Islands Passport Tour is a taste of island life across two of BC’s most beautiful communities, Salt Spring and Pender Island. Catch the Salt Spring farmers’ market on a Tuesday and the Pender market on a Saturday, then take your time exploring the rest at your own island pace.
Start on Salt Spring, where the Tuesday farmers’ market brings together the island’s growers, makers, and artists. From there, treat yourself to a handmade bar at Salt Spring Chocolate, grab a bite at Salt Spring Cafe and Kitchen, and browse the work of local artisans at ArtCraft. When you’re ready to slow down, make the short trip out to Salt Spring Wild Cider to settle in with a glass of wild foraged cider surrounded by the orchard.
Over on Pender, the Saturday market sets the tone for a slower kind of day.
