Cowichan Tour

Cowichan is a small but vibrant coastal community on southern Vancouver Island. Relax and tune in to island time by visiting local breweries, farms, and museums. Walk, bike, hike or even ride a horse along the historic Kinsol Trestle, one of the tallest free-standing rail trestles in the world! Don’t forget to pack a picnic of goodies from the Duncan Farmers’ Market to make it a day trip!

    Cowichan’s largest year-round market (rain or shine) featuring all things Cowichan grown and made. Every Saturday you will find a sea of tents in the market square on Craig Street and Ingram Street under which more than 100 vendors sell their wares. This market offers a full array of produce, in-season fruit, honey, eggs, cheese, meat, seafood, wines and spirits, baked goods, plants and flowers, amazing local artisan creations, and many specialty items. Plan Saturday brunch at the market and sit down and enjoy all the sights and sounds offered by one of BC’s oldest and largest farmers’ markets!
