Demand for the BC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program keeps growing. In 2026, more than 100 community organizations have asked to join, and over 1,500 individuals and families are on waiting lists across BC, hoping for access to fresh food from their local farmers’ market.
Here’s how Farmer Math works
Your donation becomes Nutrition Coupons. Families, seniors, and pregnant people use them each week to buy fruits, vegetables, and other local food at their market, and every coupon spent goes to a BC farmer or food producer. One gift, two wins.
This is our third Giving Tuesday campaign. Thanks to your support last year, we were able to extend the program to more households. This year, our goal is to raise $10,000, enough to welcome 23 more households into the program. A gift of $432 provides one household with a full season of fresh, local food.
