Sooke Night Market
Sooke / T’Sou-ke
T’Sou-ke - In the SENĆOŦEN language, the word T’Sou-ke is the name of the Stickleback fish that lives in nearby estuaries. Exposure to Europeans through the Hudson’s Bay Company saw the name changed first to Soke and then Sooke.
The Sooke Night Market is supported by the Sooke Region Historical Society and was developed to highlight the rich heritage of food producers, artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs in the area. It’s a place for residents and visitors to learn about and enjoy the talent and abundance of our region.
Our 11th season starts June 6th! Thursdays, 5 – 8 pm until Sept 5th.
We respectfully acknowledge that the land we gather on is the Unceded Traditional Territory of the T’Sou-ke Nation, Scia’new Nation, Pacheedaht Nation, and all South Island Coast Salish Nations.
This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
