Kwantlen Farmers’ Market

Richmond / q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓

q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ - Meaning "Tireless Runner" in the Halkomelem language.

A real-world opportunity to support real-world farmers and students.

This relatively young farmers’ market has made an immediate impact in the community it inhabits. The result of the Sustainable Agriculture and Farm School programs at the nearby Kwantlen Polytechnic University, the Kwantlen Farmers’ Market in Richmond provides a real-world opportunity for students to hone their own agricultural business within the local community.

In addition to the farm fresh produce, grown by the KPU students and farm staff, locals enjoy artisan foods, beautiful handmade crafts, and live music.

KFM operates on the unceded traditional and ancestral lands of the Kwantlen, Musqueam, Katzie, Stó:lō, Semiahmoo, Walla Walla, and Tsawwassen peoples.

This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
