Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers’ Market

Salmon Arm / Quaaout or Skwlax

Quaaout or Skwlax - Derived from the Skwlax te Secwepemculecw (Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band) name for their community, meaning "Black Bear" in Secwepemctsín.

Building community around food by supporting local food security initiatives.

The Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers Market, now in its fifth season, is located on the Ross Street Plaza and the adjoining 200 block of Hudson Avenue. With a mandate to build community around local food, this year-round, rain-or-shine market features an excellent variety of vegetable, fruit, meat, dairy and baked-goods vendors, complimented by an eclectic group of artisans. Peak summer season boasts over 50 vendors and even mid-winter you’ll find around 15 hearty vendors offering ‘Your weekly groceries – farm fresh!’

With a fountain and covered stage on the Plaza, summer season offers live music, kid’s activities and a warm festival-like atmosphere. Come join us!

The Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers Market acknowledges that it operates on the Traditional and Unceded territories of the Secwepemcul’ecw Peoples.
