Nelson Downtown Local Market

Nelson

The West Kootenay EcoSociety will reopen the 2018 Nelson Downtown Local Market on Wednesday June 13th on the newly renovated Hall St. right off of Baker St. This will be the 9th year in a row that this market has taken place. The market will run each Wednesday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm through to September 26th, offering an amazing mix of local produce, plants, prepared foods, body care, and hand-made arts and crafts. Customers can rest assured that they are supporting the local economy due to the fact that each vendor’s wares must be made locally to be sold at this market. Come on down to this market every Wednesday, you will find fresh local produce and locally made products including jewellery, pottery, paintings, natural body care items, essential oils, fresh flowers, clothing. Prepared foods include Tamil food, pad thai, cookies, crepes, baked goods, jams, syrups and more.

This market participates in the BC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
