During the winter, the Cranbrook Farmers’ Market moves indoors to Ktunaxa Gym and will run bi-weekly markets. For the November 24-25 weekend, it will relocate to 1115 Baker Street for their annual holiday market where more than 70 local a food producers and artisans will offer parade goers, food lovers and holiday shoppers fresh produce, meats, home-cooked sweets, pickles and jams, as well as hand-knit wears, Christmas crafts and decor, beauty products, jewellery, household items, art, books and more.
The holiday market features both vendors you know and love as well as some brand new merchants who come out especially for this event. The atmosphere is joyful, lively and fun, with many tables displaying seasonal sparkle and holiday-themed offerings. Whether you want to fill the fridge, stock the freezer, find the perfect gift, treat yourself to something special, or just come out and enjoy all the sights and sounds, it’s going to be a fabulous weekend.
There’s something really quite special about buying local, supporting local and giving a gift to someone that was carefully crafted and created in the community with thought, care and love. The market encourages its shoppers to buy from their neighbours and community vendors this holiday season.
