It Started at the Farmers’ Market | Salt Spring Harvest

Owner of Salt Spring Harvest Zoe Currelly is passionate about work that feels both emotionally and ethically good. The idea for the business was sparked during a conversation between friends and founders, Zoe and Babs, as Babs was sharing stories about her adventures making bathtubs of vege pate for a Buddhist retreat. They realized that there was a lack of veggie pâté options in local grocery stores and Salt Spring Harvest was born.

First appearing at the local Farmers’ Market in 2016, Salt Spring Harvest has achieved tremendous growth and is now stocked in over 60 retail stores in BC, including Choices Market, Country Grocer and Nesters Market. They also have expanded to include an online store where you can buy your favourite flavours. Their signature végé pâté is a charcuterie board favourite, while other products include a range of delicious vegan spreadable dips.
