For nearly 25 years, the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets, a provincial non-profit organization, continues to proudly serve as the voice of 145+ member farmers’ markets and roughly 6,000+ farmers, food producers and artisans in 100+ communities across all regions of British Columbia.

The geographic heart of the province, this region spans from the west coast to the historic Gold Rush region. Strong, vibrant communities rooted in farming—working together to provide their communities with fresh local food.
Ten farmers’ markets within 145 square miles—each is a vibrant neighbourhood gathering boasting a wonderful variety of locally grown food, homemade treats and art, and local musicians.
The Fraser River sustains life for most communities in south west BC. With some of the worlds best farmland, this region’s farmers provide a steady stream of food: berries, peppers, artisan cheeses and dairies, fresh meats, eggs and more.
Nineteen markets keep the produce flowing from Lions Bay to Maple Ridge to White Rock and many places in between. These markets are fixtures in their communities—offering the abundance of farm produce from the Fraser Valley and across the province.
Each farmers’ market is a reflection of its location, offering unique products from birch syrup and haskap berries, to candied salmon, and wild mushrooms. From misty Haida Gwaii, to the Skeena River, volcanic valleys, glacial lakes and snowy mountains—enjoy the view of each market you visit.
